Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. ToolPorta is built to be simple, transparent, and respectful of your data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ToolPorta collects, how browser-based processing works, and how we protect your personal information when using our developer utilities and services.

Information We Collect
ToolPorta is built around data minimization. We only collect the minimal information necessary to deliver, maintain, and secure our developer utilities.
- Usage data: Aggregated, anonymized metrics including page visits, referring sites, browser type, and general geographic location (country level).
- Device and technical information: Operating system, browser version, screen resolution, and language settings.
- Cookies and local storage: Minimal technical browser storage strictly used for user preferences like light/dark mode and language preference.
- Optional communications: If you contact our team or submit feedback, we receive your email address and message contents.
How We Use Information
Any information collected is used exclusively for operational and improvement purposes:
- Reliable operation: Delivering, maintaining, and monitoring the stability and performance of our services.
- Tool improvements: Understanding which utilities are most frequently used to prioritize feature additions and enhancements.
- Support and feedback: Responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting bug reports, and incorporating user suggestions.
- Security and fraud prevention: Protecting against automated abuse, denial-of-service attacks, and malicious requests.
Tool Input & Local Processing
Most ToolPorta utilities process your input directly inside your browser. Data entered into supported local tools is not stored on ToolPorta servers.
Your JSON payloads, strings for base64 encoding/decoding, text for hashing, passwords, and identifiers are generated or manipulated entirely within your device's memory. When you close or refresh the tab, that data is completely discarded.
We do not transmit your input payloads to remote backends for processing unless a tool explicitly indicates server-side calculation is required. You can verify this at any time by inspecting the browser network tab during tool operation.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure providers to host and deliver our web applications:
- Hosting and CDN: ToolPorta is distributed across global content delivery networks that may log standard technical HTTP request headers (such as IP addresses and user agents) strictly for routing and DDoS mitigation.
- Privacy-friendly analytics: We may use lightweight, privacy-focused analytics services that do not track you across other websites or build behavioral profiles.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, including under GDPR (EEA) and CCPA/CPRA (California), you have rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information regarding you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of any personal data we hold (such as support emails).
- Objection: Object to the processing of your personal information.
Because we do not require account registration or store tool payloads on our servers, we generally do not hold identifiable personal data. To exercise any of your privacy rights, please reach out via our contact channels.
Data Retention
Tool inputs and outputs are ephemeral and retained for zero duration—they exist strictly in temporary browser memory for the duration of your session. Standard web server access logs collected by hosting infrastructure are retained only for security diagnostics and automatically purged in accordance with standard retention schedules (typically within 30 days).
Children's Privacy
ToolPorta is intended for general audiences and developer utility purposes. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect enhancements to our tools, technological changes, or legal obligations. When updates occur, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed.
